I'm so glad we chose The Water's Edge for our wedding. All the venue had to offer made the very busy process of preparing for a wedding simplified a bit. It is such a gorgeous venue and we are so happy our special day was spent here.

Water’s Edge was such a great place to get married! The venue is so big and spread out, there is room for everyone to wander and socialize and not be so on top of each other!! We had our ceremony outside, and it was so pretty on the water!! This venue gave us good spots for great pictures! Everyone loved how it was all set up! Water’s Edge was the PERFECT venue for us. There are many locations on the property to use, the options are endless. We had a quick ceremony outside at the gazebo, moved into the reception hall for dinner, then danced the night away under the pavilion. The water on the property made for great pictures. Our wedding on August 24, 2024 was nothing shy of a fairytale. We got several compliments from guests saying how beautiful the venue was! Amy is also great to work with, she is so nice and was there if we had any questions.

We got married May 18, 2024! We were super tense all week because of the rain we had gotten and the rain that was soon to come. We had a back up plan all mapped out to use the boathouse. Luckily it was a beautiful, sunny day! 

Water’s Edge was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! Especially with having a big ceremony and a small reception. I am so happy with how the day turned out and the beautiful outdoor area to take pictures in. I was so glad to have a cabin for me and my girls to stay the night before in and get ready in. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and I’m so happy we got to have it in a beautiful place!

Water’s Edge fulfilled all of our wants and more to make our day more perfect than we could ever dream. From not having to worry about lodging, to the ceremony in the boathouse, and the reception in the hall, it was an amazing location to begin our lives together. Amy was amazing to work with and quickly answered our questions and offered suggestions to make our day perfect. A beautiful place!

We had our wedding October 28, 2023. It was super cold and rainy so our plans of having our wedding outside went out the window. Thankfully Water’s Edge has this beautiful boathouse where we could hold our ceremony. It was more perfect than I could ever imagine!

Being able to set up the wedding and have the rehearsal the night before was amazing. The house was perfect for me and my girls to get ready in so we were away from everyone. The porch was picture perfect as well. The view of the lake was breathtaking! The reception hall was big enough for all of our tables, our dj, food, and dance floor. We are so pleased with how great our wedding turned out here at Water’s Edge! Thank you so much for letting us have the wedding of our dreams here!

We loved the rustic charm of this venue along with the open countryside views. The reception hall was perfect for our small wedding groups. The tables and chairs were perfect and was a great deal along with the many areas this venue gives for people to hang out around. The venue owner gave us many options for help around for any and everything we could need. She also made it very easy and stress free. Even though we skipped on the extras we had all we could need to begin with. The day was magical. Thanks to the Water’s Edge we had a wonderful and beautiful wedding.

My now Husband and I were looking for an affordable wedding venue that we could hold both the ceremony and reception.

Water’s Edge was absolutely stunning! It truly felt like a getaway. The landscape was beautiful for pictures and the cabin was perfect for getting ready in. We also loved having the multiple options for the actual ceremony which took a lot of pressure off because you never know what the weather will bring. 

I would definitely recommend Water’s Edge to anyone searching for the perfect location for their special day.

Picking The Water’s Edge for our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! The location was amazing for our pictures and just an all around fun experience! They are very accommodating from having multiple places on site to do your ceremony and reception down to tablecloths that you can rent if you need them. If you are looking to do an outdoor wedding this is definitely the place to pick!!

We had the most amazing wedding day! The venue scenery was breathtaking. All of the amenities allowed us to move things around when the rain showed up. We had our quick ceremony outside and then moved in to the reception hall for the rest of the evening. Our guests could not stop complimenting how beautiful the wedding was. Having access to everything all weekend eliminated a ton of stress. It truly was the perfect venue for us!

We fell in love with the venue at Water’s Edge when we had attended a wedding in 2019. We knew when our time came, that is where we wanted it to be. From meeting with the owner and agreeing on a plan, we had every ounce of help given that was needed. We opted to use the weekend package including access to everything on the property and it was absolutely the best decision. Everything was there that we needed from additional chairs, tables, options for tablecloths, and without a doubt the cabin providing much needed space and comfort.

Water’s Edge made our hectic weekend a breeze. We look forward to anytime we get to come back and help others celebrate their big day there! Thank you again to Water’s Edge!

11.12.22 is the day I said "I Do" to the man of my dreams. The day was chilly but our hearts were warm. The venue was chosen because of a previous wedding we had been to. We thought the scenery was so beautiful, and the host was incredibly helpful. There are so many accommodating locations to host the plethora of events that happen at weddings, and each one of them is equally as beautiful as the last. I will forever be grateful to our host for her amazing hospitality and beautiful location.

10•29•22 We absolutely loved the Water’s Edge!! We had our ceremony in the boathouse and it was beautiful! We loved the sound of the water flowing during the ceremony, it was just perfect. We danced the night away in the reception hall and made memories we will never forget. This was the perfect place to say our i dos.

The Water’s Edge was the perfect place for our wedding. It was absolutely stunning and didn’t need much decorating. Everyone complimented on how beautiful it is. It was nice to have the option to do the ceremony inside or out, we had it outside because thankfully it did not rain. We had roughly 100 guests and we were all able to fit nicely in the dining hall to eat. Amy was great, she helped and answered any questions we had. It was a picture perfect wedding and we could not have asked for better!

Water’s Edge provided the perfect space and atmosphere for our wedding. We were able to have the ceremony outside, the dinner inside, and the reception in the boathouse and it provided such a unique and fun experience! First and foremost, the staff was such a huge help in making sure the basic things we needed were there. Secondly, the atmosphere was beyond any that I had seen before. The ability to enjoy the natural beauty of this venue and spend time with family and friends was amazing. The cabin for immediate family was amazing and the reception hall was spacious enough to let all of our guests along with us enjoy ourselves and not feel crowded. We absolutely loved Water’s Edge! From the first time seeing it two years ago we knew it was going to be the perfect spot for our wedding. We loved that it had a great place to set up for the ceremony outside or inside, which was wonderful on our day since it was rainy. When we started looking for a venue we wanted three things. We wanted something local, nicely priced, and was different from the other local venues. We got so much more than we could have asked for! Amy was the best and easy to work with. Any issues we had she was there and with the best attitude. We got married in the most beautiful spot and with the best weather. The Water’s Edge was the perfect venue for us! It was great to have access to the venue from Friday to Sunday, including being able to stay at the cabin. The Water’s Edge also has many different options to hold the ceremony and reception. This was needed as there was a chance of rain during our wedding. We got married at the Water’s Edge on April 24, 2021. From booking the venue to the wedding day, Amy has been an amazing help and has made the venue part of the wedding so easy. Even though the weather did not cooperate with our wedding day the venue made it perfect and we had the ceremony and reception inside. It was still so beautiful!!! So many of our guests complimented how beautiful the venue and wedding was!! Thank you so much for letting us have our special day at your venue! Highly recommend! 

Wedding - November 2020

 Water’s Edge was the perfect venue for mine and Daniel’s wedding ceremony. With the majority of the venue offering outdoor space, mine and his family were able to spread out and mingle amongst one another without feeling crowded.

The gazebo beside the lake was the perfect area/backdrop for us to say I do and to share our vows. The way the sunlight hit the water nearing sunset was pure perfection for photos!

We decided to use the reception hall for dinner and cake, the gazebo for the ceremony and the patio for dancing! The boathouse was used as overflow seating and for seating during the reception. Daniel and I both agree that setting the wedding up in this fashion allowed for easy traffic control and flow for our big day!

Having access to the cabin all weekend allowed for a stress free set up and tear down! Not to mention it was a great place to sleep and not worry about driving after a great reception! The Water’s Edge did not disappoint on our big day!

We knew the second we visited The Water’s Edge it was meant for our wedding. Perfect fall wedding location, with options for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Amy was amazing to work with! She made sure we had everything we needed in time to set up and still have time to spare, even with our last minute changes. The cabin is gorgeous, and was perfect to get ready in beforehand, and stay in after. Fire pit for family and friends to gather to tell stories. 10/10 highly recommend!

We picked a perfect venue and I couldn't imagine saying our I do's in any other venue. I loved how we had so many options of choosing where we would like our dancing, ceremony, and reception. I love how our guests didn't have to travel from place to place and just got to roam the venue. I loved having a whole day to set up to make sure everything was perfect.

I cannot even describe the pure beauty of this place. Setting up was easy and we did it how we wanted to. Having our ceremony outside, moving into the hall to eat, then over to the boathouse to dance and have fun. After things settled down sitting around the fire pit sharing stories with friends was simply amazing. My husband Richard and I stayed at the cabin which was incredible. It had everything we needed plus some. We highly recommend this to anyone. Thank you to Amy who helped make all of this possible. We had a beautiful wedding and incredible memories.

We had our wedding at The Water's Edge. It is a beautiful venue. The cabin for the weekend was a life saver. We had plenty of room for everyone to get ready. The fountains and waterfall were amazing for pictures. Overall we had an amazing time at a beautiful place. I couldn't imagine marrying the love of my life anywhere else!

As soon and Kyle and I walked around The Water’s Edge property we knew it was where we wanted to be married. We loved the versatility of having multiple buildings and areas to use. At some point in our day we seemed to use every area. We had our ceremony in the gazebo area, buffet line in the screened in room in the back of the cabin, dinner in the reception hall, and dancing in the open pavilion along with additional seating in the boathouse. We also loved the cabin- it was the perfect area to stay after rehearsal and the wedding. It was really convenient to get ready and stay there all weekend! Amy was also great to work with. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She is so sweet and worked with us when we had to move our date due to COVID-19 limitations. Overall, Kyle and I really enjoyed our time here, we had such a perfect day.

The weekend package with the cabin was absolutely great! The day of our ceremony I woke up to enjoy my coffee to the sound of the fountains which was a nice moment to relax before getting ready! Having the ceremony and reception at the same site, yet two different locations was super convenient for everybody. The scenery made for very beautiful pictures and Amy was great to work with. I highly recommend this place for any wedding! We will forever remember our beautiful day thanks to this place!!

We knew The Water’s Edge was the perfect spot for our wedding as soon as we toured the property. Amy was a breeze to work with to make sure everything was prepared for our weekend.

It was so nice to have access all weekend to the venue for set up and take down. Being able to spend the night there made things even easier.

This was the perfect location for our May 30th wedding reception! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful and offered a lovely backdrop for photos, and the property allowed for the relaxed and peaceful vibe we were hoping for! Amy was so sweet and accommodating as well! So glad we had our reception here!

Our wedding could not have been any more perfect, and a huge part of that is due to The Water’s Edge. The scenery made for a beautiful outdoor wedding, with the convenience of indoor options had we needed them. Having access to the cabin, as well as the other buildings, made preparations beforehand a breeze. The two of us still daydream about our ceremony— right by the water, a slight breeze blowing, and birds chirping all around. The overall layout of the property made for a flawless reception as well. We are still so happy with our decision to get married here! It truly was the ideal venue for all of our wedding needs.

Over the weekend, we got married at The Water’s Edge, and it was an absolute pleasure. Everything was so beautiful, the weather was nice and not too windy, being next to water. It was easily accessible for the amount of people that came. The lodging was so homey and comfortable. And the owners were extremely welcoming and kind and were patient with us as we tried to figure everything out. We couldn’t have found a place near home that was more perfect for us and our families, and that suited the aesthetic that we were wanting. We almost didn't want to leave.

We couldn't recommend the Water's Edge any higher. The place was perfect for our wedding. We utilized all the various areas it has to offer. We had roughly 150+ people there and it didn't ever feel too crowded. It is beautiful and needs very little decorations. As we moved from one area to the next it was very smooth and all the guests said they had a blast and commented about how beautiful the place was. The owner was very helpful and professional. Having a place to stay on the property the night before and after the wedding is also a huge perk. It’s the perfect place for a wedding.

The Water’s Edge has so much to offer! We loved the convenience of the cabin and the option to book for the full weekend. Our wedding was a rainy day, but with the indoor/outdoor option, we knew we didn’t need to stress! The venue included chairs and tables, and much more, which was so nice. Amy was very helpful and quick to return any messages or calls when we had any questions or concerns. Our wedding was beyond perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Having our wedding was everything we ever wanted and more! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The grass was freshly cut for our wedding! They provide separate chairs for outside, for the ceremony. Then, inside tables and inside chairs are provided as well. Very well organized! We used mostly one side of the grounds, but this area is beautiful. If it rained we had a back up plan, so the stress with weather for an outside wedding was very little. The cabin....was absolutely stunning! You just need to see it in person! Overall, couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our special day! Amy was amazing to work with, and ALWAYS answered every question I had (very quickly I might add). This venue was all we could have asked for plus more!

The Water's Edge was the perfect venue for our wedding. We were able to have the convenience of both indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and reception. I didn't have to worry about the weather. I loved staying for the whole weekend. We got everything set up on Friday, enjoyed the festivities on Saturday, and packed up on Sunday. This truly made the process so much easier.

Our day was nothing short of perfect, and I highly recommend The Water's Edge to any couple looking for a beautiful, convenient, and clean venue.

We had our wedding here this weekend and it was the absolute perfect venue! I loved that you can have your ceremony and reception all at the same location, yet there’s many options for where you can have them. (Example if it rains..luckily it didn’t storm until about 1:00 in the morning! 🙌🏼) We had about 130 people and there is so much room where you never feel crowded. We got to stay all weekend and I honestly didn’t want to leave today (Sunday) because I just loved taking in everything and remembering this special day in mine and my husband’s life. It’s so beautiful and I hope to come to more weddings here!

From being able to enjoy it the night before with my bridesmaids, to having plenty of space and options for our guests the day of, and finally enjoying the beautiful scene the next morning with my new husband. ❤️

The Water's Edge was such an amazing place to have our wedding. We had an amazing weekend and having the time to set up before hand helped a lot so it wasn't so hectic on our wedding day. We didn't even have to decorate a lot because it's already so beautiful there. All of our guests couldn't quit saying how beautiful it was and it made for such a comfortable, laid back atmosphere. We also got some amazing photos that we didn't even have to leave for. All in all it was an amazing experience and I would recommend The Water's Edge to anyone I know that's getting married. I couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect. The Water's Edge is a beautiful location. The bridesmaids and I stayed in the cabin the night before and got ready in there as well. It took so much stress away being able to set up the wedding, reception, and rehearsal dinner in one location, and get to stay there all weekend. The cabin really added to the wedding experience. I had the best weekend of my life, and I cannot thank Amy enough for being such a great host.

Bryce & I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to have our wedding than Water’s Edge. We both knew we wanted to get married outdoors and when we toured Water’s Edge we knew it was the perfect place! We have had so many compliments on how beautiful our venue was from guests that attended and we couldn’t agree more. The convenience of having everything in the same location made for a smoother transition from the wedding to rehearsal and less stress on us. We are so happy with our choice to get married at Water’s Edge, our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to their beautiful venue.

We got married on November 25th at the Water’s Edge. I’ve bragged to anyone I could about this venue. It’s beautiful with its three lakes on the property. We rented out the cabin for the weekend and it is fully stocked with anything you might need. The whole vibe of the place is magical. Our theme was wildflowers and it fit perfectly with the scenery of Water’s Edge. I can see why this place gets booked so far in advance. It truly makes your wedding day feel like a fairy tale.

The Water’s Edge was the perfect for center of our wedding planning. The location and amenities made it the perfect oasis for the entire weekend. The cabin was a great place for the entire bridal party to get ready and relax before the wedding. The scenery created a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and made for a wonderful evening of relaxing by the fire and enjoying the night. The flexibility of the event space was wonderful and can be used in so many ways. Amy was so helpful and so great to work with. We just got married here July 15, 2017 and the place was amazing!!!!! Beautiful scenery, lake, the place it self was well worth the price and drive for us. I am glad I was able to find this place to celebrate a very happy moment with my husband, kids and family. The owner was great working with us from a distance and treated us with respect throughout the whole process. Thank you. Be looking for our business again.

When we came to tour the Water's Edge we instantly fell in love. It had so much to offer and a lovely homey feel. It was the first venue we toured and ended up being the only. The pictures on the website were gorgeous but as soon as we pulled in and seen it in person we were ready to have our wedding there right that second. I didn’t have to worry too much about décor, I didn’t have to worry about space, I didn’t even have to worry about where photos were going to be taken. Everything about the Water’s Edge was comforting and made me feel less stressed just being there. Instead, it was like being on vacation. Most of all, my family and friends felt at home. We enjoyed every second of what the Water's Edge had to offer. We just didn’t want to leave!

Everything about The Water's Edge is perfect! With the cabin, the boathouse, the views, and the water there is truly nothing like it in the Cape Girardeau area. It is a very gorgeous venue and we kept getting compliments from our guests. We also loved not having to travel on our wedding day. It was so relaxing to have the ceremony and reception in the same location. Plus, Amy is fabulous to work with and will always answer any questions that you may have! We would highly suggest The Water's Edge for any and all special events!

The Water's Edge was amazing! Beautiful scenery with the fountains, lakes, and wildlife. Our wedding wouldn't have been so amazing if it wasn't for this resort. The hospitality of the cabin was the icing on the cake for John and I. No complaints whatsoever, our wedding weekend was an unforgettable experience for us and it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for The Water's Edge.

We knew from the pictures that The Water’s Edge was our venue. I fell in love with the whole property when I visited in person. Amy is so helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. We originally planned to have the ceremony outside, but due to rain we moved to the boathouse. It was very convenient to have the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all in the same place. Choosing to have our wedding at The Water's Edge was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. Living up in St. Louis made it difficult to be down there at times, but Amy was always only a text away. She was so helpful in planning and answering questions. 

When the big day was finally here everything turned out absolutely perfect. The beautiful scenery made not only for a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony, but for some breathtaking pictures as well. Many people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would definitely recommend The Water's Edge to anyone who asked. It was absolutely perfect.

Justin and I knew right from the start we wanted an outdoor wedding. A friend mentioned the Water's Edge to us. We had never heard of it until then. We messaged Amy, got a tour and fell in love!! We got married April 1, 2017. The trees were just coming to life, the water was a beautiful backdrop all on its own. We knew we wanted a venue where everything could be in one place. The cabin for the weekend made my life so much easier! We set up on Friday with no worries on Saturday! Justin and I stayed the night of our wedding at the cabin and woke up to make sure our things were all taken down. It was so nice to not be rushed in one day to set up, celebrate, and tear down. Amy is such a nice person, we really enjoyed working with her. Our friends and family loved the Water's Edge and were in awe of its natural beauty. I hope some of my friends decide this is the place for them! It's definitely a place I want to revisit.

The location was perfect for us! Location was great for both of our families distance wise. Setting was gorgeous & went beautifully with our decor. Loved the outdoor feel, but was also very weather accommodating. Best day ever! We got so many compliments on how well it went with our style. We knew the second we saw The Water's Edge that it was where we wanted to get married. The property was absolutely breathtaking and we had from Friday - Sunday. The extra time made it super easy to have plenty of time to set up without feeling rushed. Hands down the best option in the Cape Girardeau area.

The Water's Edge was the perfect place for our wedding! It is absolutely beautiful and has plenty of space to accommodate any wedding size. There are also plenty of options in case of weather. We had this venue for the whole weekend which made it easier to plan for the rehearsal, set-up and take down. Working with Amy was such a pleasure. We couldn't have asked for a better place!

Getting married at The Water's Edge was nothing less than perfect! Even though it was calling for rain, the sun shined through and we had our beautiful outdoor wedding that we had dreamed of! This place is gorgeous and well worth the money! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Having our wedding at The Water's Edge was a dream come true. Our wedding was April 9th, we were so worried about the possibility of rain. We opted to do something a little different and get married in the Boathouse! It was a beautiful backdrop with the exposed beams and lake in the background. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who loves the outdoors. It was truly the best of both worlds accommodating indoors and out.

We couldn't have found a better location for our wedding, and the price for the weekend package was unbeatable. We used the boathouse for the rehearsal dinner, the gazebo for the ceremony, and the indoor hall for the reception. Having everything all in one place and being able to stay in the lodge and get ready there made everything go so smoothly.

It was very convenient for all of our out of town family to only have to drive to one location. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the property was, and the view made for some terrific pictures. Because of the water on either side of the gazebo area, even though it was a hot June summer, it felt comfortable. The morning of the wedding, I was able to wake up, walk around the property, and enjoy the fresh air. It was such a relaxing start to the day.

Amy is very responsive and will help answer any questions you might have! We loved having our wedding here. It was the first place we looked at, and we are convinced we could not have found anything better.

This location could not have been more perfect for us! The outdoor setting was exactly what we wanted for our rustic style wedding. The weather was beautiful and the scenery outside made for great photos. By renting the area for the whole weekend we were able to have everything we needed in one place which was a huge plus. The convenience of having the cabin on site both before and after the wedding made everything that much easier. Amy was great to work with and let us have the freedom to make our wedding exactly the way we wanted it. It really was the best day ever!

Brandon and I got married on April 16 this year at The Water's Edge and I can honestly say I wouldn't have changed a thing about our special day. The location and everything included in the package we purchased was perfect. We had the location from Friday to Sunday which allowed us enough time to set up and tear down without being stressed. I highly recommend this location for any occasion. Absolutely wonderful.

Water's Edge is a beautiful place to have an event. We had our wedding in January and even then it was beautiful with the ice on the ponds. The cabin was very nice! I could have stayed longer. It is very clean and well kept as well as the other buildings. I would recommend anyone looking for a venue to consider Water's Edge for weddings or reunions or any other gatherings.

Aaron and I loved that we were able to have our wedding at The Water's Edge. The grounds of the venue are absolutely beautiful, and help create a romantic setting without a great deal of decoration! This was the perfect place to have our dream wedding. We were able to customize the layout of each space to fit our needs. No other location would have given us all that The Water's Edge was able to because of its beautiful views and atmosphere. Our family and guests loved the venue and felt it fit our personalities perfectly! Hands down this is the best place in Southeast Missouri to have a wedding! Absolutely love The Water's Edge.

Justin and I got Married at The Waters Edge on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Even though it was the middle of December the lake surrounding the property gave the magical setting to my wedding that I always dreamed I would have. The owners were great! If I had any issue they were understanding and helpful, which made our day so much easier. I also loved the fact that I had the property all weekend, which gave us plenty of time to decorate, enjoy our wedding, sleep in a nice cabin, and have time to clean up the next day. I couldn't have picked a better place to have one of the most important days of my life at.

We were married on an unseasonably warm December 22, 2015 at The Water's Edge. I was particularly adamant on using the boat house for our intimate ceremony and thankfully the weather helped us out! Between the ethereal feel of the boat house and the twinkling Christmas lights in the main hall our wedding was just the warm winter masterpiece we wanted! The landscape made for a gorgeous backdrop for our pictures and the rustic terrain was the perfect compliment to my completely non rustic dress and decor! Amy was super easy to work with and made our wedding weekend so memorable! 

Wedding - August 2015
I was married at The Water's Edge on August 8th. I cannot explain how perfect and smoothly everything came together. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous so I didn't have to decorate, except for the reception hall. The view is absolutely breathtaking. I personally wanted a stress-free weekend, we set up on Friday, had my wedding and reception on Saturday and took everything down on Sunday. I have recommended The Water's Edge to everyone I know.

July 18, 2015 was our big day at The Waters Edge and it was absolutely perfect. Throughout my whole wedding process I was so happy with our decision to use The Waters Edge! It was such a hot day, but the shade and the reception hall helped to keep our guests cool.

The cabin was so useful to get ready for the big day, there was plenty of space for our big group of guests, and the scenery is breathtaking... So keeping it simple with the decorations still makes a beautiful wedding!

I've recommended The Water's Edge to several people, and will continue to do so in the future! It's wonderful to have great people in your life to be with you and help you on your big day, but it's also nice to have a stress free wedding venue! smile emoticon Thank you to The Water's Edge and the wonderful people who run it! 

Wedding - October 2015
We were married at The Water's Edge October 24, 2015!! We love that we decided to get married at this venue. We had all day Friday to decorate, and we even had our rehearsal dinner there as well! Even though it rained the majority of the time before the ceremony we were still able to get the pictures we needed under the pavilion which still provided fantastic views. (Side note: it stopped raining 20 minutes before the ceremony and stayed dry the remainder of the time). Amy was a big help throughout the entire process. Anytime we had questions she was quick with an answer! We got tons of compliments on how beautiful the venue was. It really speaks for itself! We didn't have to do much decorating at all! 

We had about 200 people that attended. We had the boat house and reception hall set up for people to eat at. Since the weather was beautiful we had our dance under the pavilion which provided ample room for everyone to get out there and boogie!

My husband and I got married August 23, 2014 at The Water's Edge. Our wedding was our dream come true of our big day! We wanted an outside wedding! We were so back and forth because of the weather and it being a late August wedding until we went and toured the Water's Edge! We fell absolutely in love with the atmosphere. It was everything that we wanted with a place for us to have the wedding if the weather wasn't cooperating! There was a place where we could have rehearsal, a rehearsal dinner, get ready, the wedding, and reception, which made the whole weekend less stressful on us and we never felt rushed, which every bride wants. Our family and guests couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Amy and her family were absolutely wonderful, and kept in contact with us through the whole wedding. I would suggest The Water's Edge for anyone for their big day!!! Thanks Water's Edge for making our big day a dream come true.

My husband and I got married May 3, 2014 at The Water's Edge. One of our main reasons we chose to have it there was because of the beautiful scenery and lakes. We went with the weekend package, which was really nice. It allowed us to have the rehearsal, wedding, and reception all at the same place. We honestly couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

There's nowhere in Missouri that could have been more perfect for our wedding than the Water's Edge. All the buildings give perfect views of the water and provide several places for guests to mingle. Amy was great to work with and made planning for our big day a breeze. We want to get remarried so we can have an excuse to go back!

My husband and I got married April 26, 2014 at The Water's Edge. Amy was so helpful with payment plans and staying organized, which let's face it...every bride needs someone like Amy for help! We had the weekend package, so our rehearsal dinner, wedding and honeymoon night was all spent there. It was perfect, clean, spacious and updated! Our guests loved the fact there was no drag time in between the wedding and reception, plus no worries with leaving a church and hunting down the reception hall since it was all right there in the same location! Everyone from our wedding loved the landscape, scenery of the lake and cabin, but especially the lights all over the venue! It was peaceful, relaxing and very romantic. Hands down, the best wedding venue I know of in Cape!
