Why did you decide to get married at the Water's Edge?

We decided to get married at Water’a Edge because of how well it fit our budget and we get the property for three days! We wanted a venue that provides outside and inside options because we wanted our wedding outside and our reception inside so our guests don't have to travel far!

Relationship History:

We got together the 28th of April in 2016 when we were in high school! So it's almost been 4 years.

Best and Worst Wedding Planning Experience:

The best wedding planning experience so far is cake testing, choosing how we want to decorate our wedding, and choosing the food!

The worst part has been trying to keep our guest list under 60!

Why did you decide to get married at the Water's Edge?

We choose Water’s Edge because it offers multiple options for hosting our wedding due to unpredictable weather.

Relationship History:

We started dating on the Fourth of July four years ago this year and he proposed on our third anniversary.

Best and Worst Wedding Planning Experience:

The best part would be planning it with the love of my life. The worst would include planning while we live three hours apart from one another.

Why did you decide to get married at the Water's Edge?

It’s the prettiest sight around Jackson.

Relationship History:

3 years of dating and 1 year on July 31st of engagement.

Best and Worst Wedding Planning Experience:

We got everything planned 6 months before the wedding. The worst part was trying to pick out the bridesmaids because 2 of them decided not to be one and it was hard to find 2 other people.

Why did you decide to get married at the Water's Edge?

This was the only place around that we could imagine saying our “I do’s.” We love that there is a cabin for the couple to spend the night and the flexibility for an indoor/outdoor wedding, regardless of weather!

Relationship History:

We always had mutual friends and never actually got to meet each other. Our best friends took us on a double date and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Best and Worst Wedding Planning Experience:

Best: Customizing our special day together and having so much family involved!

Worst: Trying to plan a wedding from another state.

Why did you decide to get married at The Water’s Edge?

We decided to get married at Water’s Edge because there are multiple areas to use- both indoor and out. The trees, bushes, and flowers are very pretty. It’s a perfect fit for us since we are having a smaller wedding. We are so excited to get married here in May!

Relationship History:

We met in 2018 through a friend. Our first “date” was actually supposed to be a friendly gathering with another couple— they set us up. I was sort of “tricked” into it. That was the best “trick” ever played, because we both knew within a few months that we would spend the rest of our lives together! 💜

Best & Worst Wedding Planning Experience:

My best wedding planning experience so far is overall just enjoying spending time together and simply enjoying being engaged. He is my favorite person! Also- we can’t wait for our honeymoon!!

My worst experience so far is just the stress of planning, period. It really is a lot for one person to do, and you won’t understand completely until you do it yourself!
